advo are once again exhibitors and sponsors of the CIPD’s ‘Festival of Work’ which incorporates the HR Software Show. advo will be showcasing its linked payroll, HR absence management and payroll online management platform and staff portals.

Driving meaningful working lives in a more automated workplace, motivating a multi-generational workforce and the future of skills and learning are just some of the wider topics being discussed at the CIPD’s Festival of Work.

The two-day conference, held at Olympia London and running from Wednesday 12 to Thursday 13 June 2019 and will ‘explore the biggest issues in the world of work, with a strong focus on technology. A mix of masterclasses, skills sessions and panel discussions make up the programme, which aims to spark debate as well as offer inspiration and practical solutions.’

As an SME employer advisory, advo will be focussing on both the quality of its people in addition to their technology as Lucy Pearce, advo’s head of sales and development comments “Our aim is to deliver essential business services using technology backed up with expert advice, to be different and invaluable.”

The advo online system delivers essential HR & absence management, employee benefits and payroll supported through one linked-technology, saving time and engaging employees, allowing lower fees to be charged.

Peter Cheese, chief executive of the CIPD, said: “With technology rapidly changing the world of work, it’s more important than ever that we share and understand the many changes and implications on our organisations and people. At the very heart of a successful business is how to attract, motivate, develop and retain people; the Festival of Work will explore how we can do this in an uncertain world and with emerging technologies.

“The event brings together HR and L&D professionals, policy makers, trade unions, business leaders and managers, and many others, and we look forward to welcoming them all to Olympia next month.”
