advo has been searching for many years for a like-minded commercial insurer to deliver ‘same-service’ advice and support to clients on key business insurances.

A chance encounter has led to advo partnering with United Insurance Brokers (UIB), a Lloyds of London privately owned commercial insurance broker with an excellent reputation for cost control and client service. UIB’s Christopher Bates and advo’s Colin Boxall chatting about their respective organisation’s approach to supporting clients realised a symmetry.

advo had been searching for a number of years for an option for wider business insurances in response to repeated requests from clients to recommend a commercial broker. In return UIB, although an expert in a broad range of commercial insurances, realised that having an option for specialist employee benefit advice for their clients would be a valuable addition to their own services.

UIB’s approach of putting the client squarely at the centre to ensure tailored advice for appropriate policies at the lowest price, based on client’s own risk profile, with ongoing support is a match to advo.

Having now reached an agreement to promote each other’s services advo is now able to provide access to the Lloyds of London commercial Insurance market through UIB supported by their specialist advice.

The UIB Group one of the largest privately-owned international insurance and reinsurance brokers based in London. UIB are able to offer advo clients a full range of commercial insurance products and services to all, regardless of size. As an accredited Lloyds of London Insurance broker they have access to the whole market including specialist risks.

As with all Intermediaries, UIB will review the market as standard and ensure that the products in place are relevant for the business and the money being spent provides true value.
